Moving out of your college apartment near the University of Texas can be bittersweet, but with some planning, it can go smoothly. Here are some helpful instructions and FAQs to make the move-in process as efficient and easy as possible.

What day does my lease expire?

All Leases traditionally end on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 12:00 PM.

When is my final payment due?

The Last Month’s Rent Is Due On July 1st. This Does Not Include The Final Electric Bill, Which Will Be Posted on August 1, 2024, or damage and or cleaning charges.

How can I make a payment?

We accept checks, money orders, and cashier checks in our office, made payable to Gateway at Denton. As an alternative payment option, we accept credit, debit cards, and ACH payments online at gatewayatdenton.com for your convenience. We are unable to accept cash.

What am I responsible for turning in once I move out?

1 Front Door Key, 1 Bedroom Door Key, And 1 Mailbox Key must be turned in to the Leasing Office with the  easy check-out form.

When will I get my final electric bill?

The final electric bill will be posted on August 1, 2024. If you move out early, you are responsible for the electricity until the end of your lease agreement.

Can I move out early? What am I responsible for?

You can move out and turn your keys in early. However, you are still responsible for rent and electricity through the end of your lease term.
